Please look after yourselves as you would guests

Post by Lil_Missy » Mon Jul 01, 2013 2:51 pm

I have never been to Disneyland California so I do not know what the park layout is like. I have been to FLA so am assuming it is very similar.

I just hope that all you CMs take care in this stupid heat esp "friends" of Pooh, Tigger, et al. I do hope that management are giving you plenty of breaks and doing all they can to keep you safe.

Thank you for doing this job.

Toni

If you Google Disneyland Resort, you should get a map and other info on the park. Right now, the heat warnings aren't affecting Orange County, CA; to check the weather in our area, go to weather.com, and in the search box type Disneyland Resort.

It has been Heat Index/Code 90 at DL for the last 3 days. There are certainly heat warnings at DisneyLand!

You should come to Maui to cool off. It's only 84 today but the UV Index is still 12 - Extreme. That's a good excuse to sit under an umbrella tree and sample fruity drinks.

I was at Disneyland during the first few days of October 2005. The temperature one of those days was 106F. I don't remember anyone issuing any warnings at all. Did they not have them back then? Or did they just not care. ;)

hobie, careful what you say/wish for. ktulu, family, and I just might take you up on this offer. We are looking for a grand way to celebrate his birthday in Aug. Maybe, just maybe YOU and Maui are "The Grand" answer.

Code 90/Heat Index is only an alert to CMs.

Around here we call that late summer.

Darph would be looking for a light jacket to take away the chill...
