Ghost Stories

Post by GMC » Thu Jan 03, 2013 8:54 am

Old Friends!

It's been a few years since I dropped in, I hauled off and joined the Air Force about four years ago. I'm deployed right now, and we're sharing ghost stories, I remembered a few I gleaned from the site a while back... Timmy sightings, Walt smoking at Main Street Station (I was excited, the last time I visited he was there!) Etc.

Can someone link me out to the old ghost story string, if it's still up?

I'd share some from the Air Force, but I don't have any that are even remotely verifiable. Saddest Christmas Ever.

Air Force?!?! You obviously never saw No Time For Sergeants.

Will Stockdale: Hey, Ben. Maybe you'll get to like the Air Force. Zoomin' all over the sky - and shouting, "Roger" and "Wilco" and everything. Maybe it won't be so bad.

Benjamin B. Whitledge: Bad? You know what they call men in the Air Force?
[Will shakes his head "no"]

Benjamin B. Whitledge: Air man! Like somethin' out of a dang funny book! Air man! How you gonna like it when somebody calls you "Air man"?

Will Stockdale: By dog, I just don't think I'll stand for it.

Hi wombat! No idea about weeble or birdmom... which is a shame, because now that your bring her up, I want to say she had a good number of ghost stories.

And no, can't say I've seen "No Time for Sergeants" but I'll be a sergeant soon. Then they'll stop calling me Airman... does that count?

Once an airman, always an airman.
