Exactly! Where would you rather be: at home dry, or at Disney wet? Easy, easy choice. :D:

We love it when it rains a little. It makes people run for cover and we can get right on rides without waiting.

Come on, admit it. You sometimes wish the SGs really would melt, don't you?

I had an incident with one of Those Guests when I was passing through City Hall one day. The SG had bullied a GR Cast Member nearly to tears, and since I wasn't in costume (but on duty) and thus probably looked like a manager, I decided to step in.

"Excuse me, hi, my name is Zazu. Perhaps I can help, but first I need to understand exactly what the situation is.

"As I understand it, you bought yourself, and each member of your family, a non-refundable ticket to a Disney Theme Park. And with the same access to weather reports as everyone else, you still decided to use those tickets in this Park, on this day. Right?

"And with all the shows and attractions, with all the shops and restaurants, with all the ways to have fun at the Most Magical Place on Earth[tm], the best and most entertaining activity you could find for yourself and your family for the money spent is standing in my office complaining about the rain. Is that about right?"

He may have gone home and written a nasty letter, but at least he shut up and left.

The formerly crying CM still had to go backstage for a minute to compose herself, but now it was because of uncontrolled giggling.

One of the secrets of Hawaii is it rains. A lot. It depends on where you are on the islands though. East side - you're gonna get wet. West side - usually in the mountain wind shadow which blocks the prevailing trade winds but it'll still get wet on occasion.

Best thing to do if it rains? Retire to a location that serves up mai tais.
