Major price increase for APs

Post by disney777 » Fri May 18, 2012 8:43 pm

$150 increase! Maybe there will be less SGTs to report on now.

I guess they need a way to pay for Carsland.

Eeep.....that makes it around $100.00 a month for Hubby and me to go, before Pins, Food, Presents and Hotel Room. We always have a good time, but will have to weigh things, considering we are sometimes just using pass to kill a day and get some exercise...sometimes we don't even go on any attractions

I may be too late on this, but does anyone here know if I can buy a AP voucher at the old price to renew my Pass which expires in January? The Voucher would be good until Dec 31st,but I understand you can renew 40 days out....

I doubt it. I work parttime as a travel agent and even our systems show the new price. and thier web site was just changed too. it would be so bad if out of staters could make payment instead of just CA or FL residents. now I will buy all my stuff thru the agent system just so I can get 10% back.
soon it will be like 100 a month to get one. wait until the daily price goes to 100.00 at the gate.

unfortunatly, with that kind of price increase I wount be able to renew my pass. Just cant afford it. I'm thinking Disney is trying to cut down on the number of AP's figuring AP holders dont spend as much at the parks.

I can't believe that boardX didn't have some kind of scam or angle to allow you to renew your pass on the cheap and questionable!
"buy a Cali resident pass with CM and DVC discount, plus use rebate coupon from Walmart and Costco discount. Gives you 2 for 1 AP plus dream fast pass and a free 7 night cruise"

Oh, and a free refillable mug for use at wdw!
