Yesterday I was watching the parade. A SG parent-dad says: Look there's Daffy Duck on top of the drum.

Oh really? I had no idea Daffy was a Disney character.

When we were at WDW a few weeks ago, my mom was sorting through my daughters pins with her and when they ran across her Flower (from Bambi) pin, my mom said, "Oh! Pepe le Pew! I love him!" Needless to say, she felt more than a little stupid when I pointed out that Pepe le Pew is neither a Disney character nor is he a girl.

Well, that just goes to show you how long it's been since I've watched Bambi... :o:

Oh great, after reading that, I had the following pop into my head:

"Coming soon from Disney, the new adventures of one of Bambi's friends:

He may seem shy...

But push him too far and you'll discover the true meaning of:

Flower Power! A Direct-To-Video action/adventure!

Man better beware when they go in the forest this summer...."

I'm very glad you didn't post this during the Eisner era, or for sure this would get made.

*snicker* Yes, the whole "Direct-To-Video" sequels thing did get out of hand. I did enjoy some of the animated series based on the more recent movies, such as Aladdin or Tarzan, though.
