Sure there will be. The poor souls who will have to work the ticket
counters selling tickets for DCA. The information desk / Guest Services at
DCA. Even the security guards at the Esplanade.

This day is going to be a mess of guest tricks. I'm sure there will be
dozens if not hundreds of stories about a person or family who went
insane because the park was closed.

I've had people insist that DL park is open 24/7, that there is no "closing
time" ... anyone ever run into that? Then they get all upset when the
closing spiel runs and they're asked to leave.

Oh yea there is another park. Brain Fart.

Got that right! People who come up to me on Main Street and ask, "What
is there to do here?" really need a good hard whack with the clue stick.

just throw something togher on the day the park is closed and say "Look
at how much money we saved."
As one old flamethrower once put it, "It would be a hell of a lot cheaper if
we didn't build it at all!!!"

Don't worry, TDA won't take that advice -- it's a quote from Walt.

I dunno if it's been pointed out yet that the date of the whole 50th
anniversary kickoff thing will be 05/05/05. And 05 is 50 backwards.
Coincidence?

I remember when Space Mountain closed. I was in the park at the time. Because it closed early I went over to ride it not knowing it was going to be closed. Anyway when I got there the CM's said it might open later so I returned later and it was still closed. At the time I didn't know that it would be closed anyway, but I didn't complain because I know that these things happen. I wonder how many complaints there were for that one.

That sounds like a simple 101. Not necessarly the most pretty situation, but it was probably something mechanical. Sometimes if it's near the end of the night it will just close early anyways because they cannot get it 102 before the park closes, but if they can get it open 1 min before the park closes then they will reopen it.

Kinda interesting how Disney can have little coincidences like that.
Same principle for Tower of Terror being 13 stories, and the Resort's address is 1313 :)
