Are you sure you aren't making up a story about Disneyland instead?
well, I was there in the 80's. from the restrooms and a store you can see the mansion leftside, I think. the restrooms are behind the store, or whatever it is now. and if you stand near the restroom doors you can see a train tunnel. thats all I remember and I havn't been back there since then. maybe a lot has changed since then.

Nope, sorry. There is no location in the Magic Kingdom from which you can see both the Haunted Mansion and either of the railroad tunnels.

Are you sure you don't mean Disneyland? There you can.

I had originally thought so too.
drcorey wrote:around '82 at WDW in MK I lived there for a week and was never caught. I lived mostly between HM and the train tunnel, near the restrooms. security never found me.
Thus my confusion.

well, never mind, I know it was WDW but apparently I don't remember much else back that far. all I really remember is sleeping in a bush and hearing that damn howling clip till like 1 am. and a restroom was near by around the back of a building.
but you are right, I got on google earth and examined that area via satilight and nothing matched my memorys of it. one building looked sort of familar but it was near splash mountain and I couldn't see any train tracks, and the HM was way past that.
maybe one day I will visit there again and try to remember what I did in the 80's on that week. hmm, did SM have a howling wolf clip?

Perfectly understandable. Anyone living under a bush probably doesn't have the best memory.

Disneyland's restrooms in New Orleans Square - look to your left of the train station and you will find the Haunted Mansion. Behind the trainstation there is a break room for the engineers.

I heard once you get into your 40's the eyes go bad and then the memory.

For a stupid grad at grad nite, the brain relaxes after a few drinks and the IQ that you had earlier is no longer there.

I'm seeing that Splash Mountain didn't open in WDW until 1992 and at Disneyland 1989.
