Caption contest

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Where's your newspaper litter bug?

"You think because you're in color, that makes you special?"

"Look, the dress code clearly says black, white, and shades of gray! What's the matter with you?"

"Is it really necessary for you to tell on-color jokes all the time?"

The same pic will show here, on Facebook, and on The World of Wombat. I'll repost the pic with my favorite caption on Friday. No prize this week, sorry, just the glory of winning!

Oh, and I should mention two things: First, Doug is a very brave and trusting soul who posed for this without knowing how I'd use it; and second, his book is very, very funny. If you like Douglas Adams, you'll enjoy To Cure the Humans!
Dude. All you had to do was ask. I coulda got you 'better' seats to the VM concert, not up here in the nose-bleed section.

Week 42 Caption Contest results! This guest-star turn from Doug Lewis brought in some funny lines! First, the Honorable Mentions: ktulu, with this callback to last week's Baylor parade pic, "So you're saying just sit like that, and then slide onto the bear's shoulder when it goes by?"; Alan AJ Irby: "Just another classic case of don't be the guy sitting in the middle of the row who needs to go to the toilet."; our guest star Doug Lewis: "No, Brad, I have no idea if the fourth guy to my right works out."; PatchOBlack: "Look, the dress code clearly says black, white, and shades of gray! What's the matter with you?"; and Brooks Harkey, who went there: "You can always spot a colored person in a crowd."

And not only getting an Honorable Mention but also this week's win is ktulu! This is his fifth win in 2014 and ninth overall! Congratulations, ktulu!

Thanks to all who entered! The Caption Contest will be on a one-week hiatus next week while I travel -- I turned 50 this year so I'm required by law to go to Branson.

Huh, I turned 50 8 years ago and I've never been told I need to go to Branson. Must be a Texas law.

2014 CAPTION CONTEST, Week 43 -- Sorry for the delay in posting, since SGT was down. As for this pic, let's just say I was inspired by some of the things I saw in Branson. How would you caption this picture? Comment below!
