Caption contest

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

"Hey Bruce! We're still friends, right?"

"Sure mate! You're still a fish, right?"

CAPTION CONTEST RESULTS! This time, the sharks were celebrating "Wombat Week"! Lots and lots of funny to choose from! First, the Honorable Mentions: Two from ktulu: "Our patented system of using lawyers as shark repellent will ensure a safe dive." and "The moment when the caption contest jumped the shark."; his lovely wife Mrs. ktulu: "Brad was asked to share his new widget with the show 'Shark Tank' and took it a little too literally!"; DisneyMom: "Wombat's Rendition of 'Under the Sea' failed to attract the friendly sea-creatures he envisioned."; G Scott Lewis: "Two predators of the sea. One is a Great White. The other? A shark."; Bret Morris: "Sharknado 4: Revenge of the Wombat"; Robin Belcher: "Excuse me. Would you like to hear a baritone perform in the key of sea(C)?"; Doug Lewis: "As an experienced falconer, Wombat was taken aback when the shark bit off his arm rather than perching on it."; bookbabe: "This isn't the Epcot dolphin encounter, is it?"; and Brian Elliott: "Staff meeting."

It might be a bit surprising to some, but even Mickey is a World of Wombat fan.

"Wombat wasn't sure what to make of Disney using his image, maybe he could get royalties."

Wombat was shocked, but pleasantly surprised, to see his pal Mickey had gotten the special sweater he had sent for his birthday...

I don't have anything for the contest...yet..but it would have been funny for Wombat to put a Mickey on the likeness in the photoshopped Mickey wearing the Wombat sweatshirt.

just sayin...
