Caption contest

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

The same pic will show here, on Facebook, and on The World of Wombat. I'll repost the pic with my favorite caption on Friday. As always, no prizes, other than the glory/infamy of being chosen.

As the flying horse creature came in for a landing, Brad realized that it's never a good idea to be up a creek without a paddle.

Brad suddenly realizes he has yet another "fish that got away" story that no one will ever believe.

Brad, tiring of the daily grind of being a lawyer for the city decided that he'd like to be a naval officer. But not just any naval officer. Because his eyesight prevented him from becoming a pilot he decided to become the landing officer on an aircraft carrier.

To prepare for the landing officer test, he rented a canoe and an inflatable pegasus towed by a helicopter. His buddy Gomer volunteered to be the pegasus pilot.

The first landing was going well. Brad was out on a lake directing the landing from his canoe aircraft carrier, the helicopter was towing Gomer and his F-18 pegasus in for a perfect landing when suddenly Gomer dropped his beer. He leaned forward to grab it which pitched the F-18 pegasus into a dive. The picture above was taken a split second before the F-18 pegasus collided with the canoe aircraft carrier which sunk the canoe aircraft carrier and simultaneously deflated the F-18 pegasus and Brad's career as a landing officer.

"Maybe this lawyering gig isn't so bad after all." thought Brad as he swam to shore.

Good gravy, Hobie, that's not a caption, that's a short story! :)
Oh, and he isn't on a pegasus, he is on a hippogriffin.
