So I've heard some talk that the Rapture is supposed to occur this weekend.....What do you need to finish here just in case you'll be "away"?
I'm thinking I should have bought my POTC 4 tickets for tonight instead of Sunday ;)
Rapture this weekend?
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Re: Rapture this weekend?
I heard something about that. I also heard from a friend that this was to happen back in 2008. But nothing happened.
If there was to be a big earthquake and it would be bigger than Japan's.
I don't think anything will happen. I can see an earthquake hit the park. Everything gets checked out and life goes on.
Maybe after the quake, we can find the wrapping paper that a SG in front of me asked for. I don't remember seeing that on the turkey cart. Lets get some tape and a ribbon! I would like a gift wrapped turkey leg so I can give it as a gift to my friend. NOPE!

It was supposed to happen in the 90's as well. Still here.
And the guy who started this crap (some old guy, whatever his name is) seems to have forgotten a crucial part in the Bible. The part where Jesus says: "No man knows the day or the hour."

Picked up Old Moon Wines, beer, coke for me. Have tortillas, beans, fruit, but I forgot the ice & cat food. Maybe I''ll get it before 6 pm. What time zone @ 6 pm will be raptured first? My Scheduler & I plan to loot Best Buy, Verizon, & Walmart during & after rapture. :D:DisneyMom wrote:What do you need to finish here just in case you'll be "away")

Pacific Time Zone. Can you left coasters give me a heads up so we can get ready for the tsunami?
Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Not to worry darph. Just heard on NBC only The Faithful will be taken. Maaaany of us will still be here. ;) Pet insurance is being sold - no kidding - for those who are rapt, so there will be a need for the unrapt. This is really becoming entertaining. :D:darph nader wrote:Well, I can't go,I've still got part of an 18 pack to polish off.
