Official SGT ADD thread

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Scooter is just as goofy as ever. She turned nine earlier this year but still acts like a puppy.

My rattling knees have pretty much ended my 30 to 40 mile daily bike rides so Scooter and I leave the house every morning at the crack of dawn for a two mile walk. She's developed a group of people who always stop to give her a scratch while she gives them a few of her hello barks.

There's also Luca, a 100+ pound German Shepard. He's a senior dog just out for a stroll. If we're catching up to him and his owner, Scooter lets out a few barks. Luca will turn around and wait for us to catch up. It's pretty funny to see him looking down at my twelve pound pooch.

Is it a windows netbook ? The downloads to update the restored OS can take a ridiculous amount of time to download.

Yes, it's an Acer Aspire One D255E running Windows 10. About how much longer do I have to wait? It's been over 60 hours now.

After 72 hours, it finally went to black, then I got the white line with the glowie running along it with the words "Setup is starting (?)". So, any idea how much longer it could take? I really need my computer back.

If it's finally doing the setup, it shouldn't take very long. Downloading all of the updates, especially on a slower connection, will take a while.

It was "setup is starting services". Last night, I started tapping F11, and it said this was caused by my letting my battery reach critical stage, and that I should plug it in for recharge. Excuse me, it's been plugged in for the past week! Finally I turned it off, unplugged it and returned it to its case. We have wifi here, but exactly how fast it is I don't know. Any other tips?
