TEST

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Darn. My church has podcasts made of services; why can't SGT do something like that? Like, go through our history, and present something like the Top 10 Dumbest Things People Do in the Parks, or Funniest/Scariest Guest Interactions, or something like that.
Oh, well, back to the books, I guess (is it me, or are they starting back to school already?).

It should embed youtube links. I'll get the boys to look into it.

So, these boards have been too quiet for too long. What's happening with you all? I got a temporary full-time + overtime job with Samaritan's Purse in Fullerton, from late Nov. to before Christmas. I have to take 3 buses to get there, and the second passes by Disneyland.
I can remember when the Matterhorn was easy to see; we'd be traveling on the I-5 freeway when I was a kid, and it became a contest of sorts to see who could spot the Matterhorn first. Now it's barely visible, even from street level, because of all the trees, etc. that have exploded around the place. Nothing against trees, but when they block the view of the Matterhorn, that's a whole 'nother subject. When I finally managed to see it, to me it looked like it hadn't been too well cared for; it looked as if the "snow" had "melted", and more "rock" could be seen. Maybe I just don't remember as well as I used to. Do Hans, Otto and Fritz still go up it? Do they still have the skyway going through it near the top? I couldn't see.

The skyway has been gone for years. The Swiss chalet at the Fantasyland end became a retirement home for old termites.
