When we were in Australia for 6 months, 1965-66, we had a comic book with comics of Jerry Lewis, as well as Bob Hope. The Jerry Lewis comic started out with his buying a defective piece of candy, going to the store where he'd bought it for a refund from the attractive salesclerk, and somehow ending up in a kind of spy thriller. Wish we still had it, but it disappeared before we returned to America. It think it was a piece of taffy that was supposed to be soft, but it was hard enough to break a tooth.
