I hope the CM is okay. Sounds like some flukey thing with the electrical system.

I think the media is just having fun again, minor electric shocks happen when you are constantly in contact with powerful electric equipment. Sure one of the monorails folks will come chime in with either stupid media trick or stupid cast member trick.

Electric shocks only happen when something has failed or the person shocked did something wrong. To assume the occasional shock is part of working with electrical equipment is just wrong.

Please not that the following rant will be shadowed out. It may or may not contain language that will make Hobie blush....

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED....
I am sick and F'ing tired of the media... esp. WFTV a f'ing ABC affiliate... keep bringing up the f'ing Monorail accident every f'ing time the someone f'ing sneezes near a damn train. It amazes me that the low lifes at that f'ing news room find it easy to cut the wound from last year open and not only dump a pound of salt on it. Can we not let the dead rest and the survivors get on with their life. I feel for Austins family when they turn the tv news on or open the paper and just have to see a reminder. I must give the Orlando Sentinal their props tho... It was not front page ews from the artical that was showed to me.. and also did not contain any hint of last years loss...
Sorry to all of you that had to endure that... I am just fed up...

Don't blame you a bit, Doc. You know we're with you on all this. Vent away.

Well, yes. I guess what I am saying is minor electrical failures are bound to happen, I've gotten my fair share of small shocks off of computers and such.

Failures, be they electrical, structural, mechanical, etc., do happen. It's the nature of things. I'm saying, with scheduled maintenance and users reporting potential problems before they become real ones, shocks and other failures can be headed off before they happen.
