Utilikilt, now those are cool. I have many friends with utilikilts. Been meaning to get one myself, gotta see if they have the formal one back in stock. As for furries, I can see where an accidental brush with a gathering of them would be ... disconcerting. There may be a few furries at GenCon, but ...

I've been to Gencon Indy a few times, and would probably go to Gencon SoCal if I didn't live on the complete opposite side of the country. You can find out more at: http://www.gencon.com/socalhome.aspx?file=socal And, yeah, I got plenty of costumes (I do something called live action roleplaying -- v...

At our behind the scenes tour at AK, the CM told us that every Easter a rabbit would enter the Meerkat enclosure and be found dead the next morning, eaten by the Meerkats, but that could have been her way of pulling one over on the stupid guests.

Re: heeeey

Sigh, my fiance is a vegetarian. Many vegetable soups and stews are made with a meat based broth, so unfortunately it's a legitimate question that just sounds stupid.

I usually don't intervene (hey, I don't want to be yelled at as much as the next guy; plus people who are angry can turn to violence when someone else intervenes).

But I do apologise to the CM, and try to let him/her know that not all guests are obnoxious, rude assholes.

No, Thank *you*

OK, as I may have mentioned before, I do not work for a theme park. I have never worked for a theme park; I doubt I'll ever work for a theme park. I work in an office building. I have to wear a tie. But some might argue that the city where I work is one of the biggest theme parks in America. So toda...

I totally believe Guests have the Spidey Sense. Over the summer, there was a big group of us who went into the parks as Guests, and this guy walks up to me and asks what time the parade is. Seriously wierded me out... Nope. As someone who has never worked as a Cast member and was visiting DCA for t...

As a self-proclaimed stupid guest, I just wanted to mention a study I read about years ago. It seems that given the choice between asking a busy coworker about how to use a copier and looking it up in the manual, a great majority of people would interrupt the busy coworker. It's just easier to ask s...

Hi! I'm a stupid but generous guest. Might I ask what the 3 time rule is or am I not supposed to know?
