Re: James Brown, Bruno Mars, & a haka -- this is BARBERSHOP!

An amazing performance from this past week's BHS International contest in Nashville, by New Zealand chorus VocalFX: Just out of curiosity... does the lady have a specific roll with the chorus? She didn't seem to be singing or directing, just dancing. It w...

Re: Don't Text While Driving

There really is a difference between texting and talking on the phone. Even if you are holding a phone in your hand you have no reason to take your eyes off the road and as far as a distraction factor, how is it different then talking to the person sitting next to you in your car. Texting requires t...

I'm also thinking that it might be a prime example of "thinning the herd". Survival of the fittest, etc. Sounds like this guy was not really going to contribute anything worthwhile to society anyway. Or a Darwin Award. He can only qualify for the Darwin Awards if he doesn't already...

Re: Alligator encounter at Grand Floridian...

I just watched the report. I do so hate the sensationalism type reporting that is being passed off as factual. First off, there were pictures of River Country taken, according to them, just two weeks ago. Therefore they were taken by someone that was trespassing. Second, this guy that took the pictu...

Re: Alligator encounter at Grand Floridian...

Disney is also hauling out and killing alligators from the lagoon and Bay Lake. They promise to keep doing so until they find some sort of proof that they've killed the right one. Yeah, that'll teach those mean gators to stay away from the beach! :alligator: . . . . . :AmosSlade: When they are all ...

Alligator encounter at Grand Floridian...

I'm kind of surprised that this didn't make the discussion list. Night before last a 2 year old was grabbed by an Alligator along the shore at Seven Seas Lagoon. He was pulled under and subsequently drowned. Apparently the Alligator was scared off by the boys Father when he tried to rescue the boy. ...

Re: Disney Discriminated Against Autistic Kids

Does make you wonder who's in a wheelchair or scooter because they actually need it, and who's just faking.... If they aren't teenagers, then you can pretty much stop wondering. Let me tell you, from experience, that there is nothing even remotely fun about using a scooter or especially a wheelchai...

CAPTION CONTEST for MAY 27! Inspiration for these contests can come from anywhere. My friends will now think twice before inviting me to their daughter's junior high musical. So, how would you caption this picture? Comment below! https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TYWSYZwwiEs/V0MiUZkLFQI/AAAAAAAAUic/yb9-Bx...

Mary Poppins was the movie.
