Re: Thanks from a guest.

^ And that sums it up for me as well. When I see a guest smiling, and knowing that I did something to help put that smile on their face. that's worth it all for me. Hearing the thanks is nice, and I do appreciate it. But it really is my pleasure to work there and help you have a good time. I love be...

Re: Hi, i'm new.

I'm a bit late, but welcome. I'm also a theme park and roller coaster nut, which grew out of parks being the center of our family vacations for the most part when I was a kid. Always kind of dreamed of working at a park, and now I do. Actually gave up teaching at public schools to do what I'm doing ...

Re: I *swear* to you: There is a back entrance!

Had an all to familiar one a couple of days ago at Studios. I'm out on Hollywood Blvd, and a family comes up to me asking where they can catch the monorail to Animal Kingdom. "I'm sorry folks, there isn't a monorail station either here or at Animal Kingdom, but you can take a shuttle bus if you...

Re: Any CM's read this book????

Agreed. I'm amazed sometimes when I read some of these "exposes" on Disney some of the ridiculous information that they come up with and claim is true, when just a bit of concrete thinking will expose a lot of it for the half truths or outright lies that much of it is. I remember reading t...

Re: And now for something completely smurfy?!?

Still have a hard time believing that they sell Smurf figures at Disney. I think it was at the Italian pavilion at Epcot, but don't remember for sure. Just not something that I had imagined seeing there.

Re: Talking durring attractions.

Interesting reading. People who talk over spiels, pre shows, or CM's making announcements do bug me. Especially if they're doing it loudly and about things that are completely unrelated to the ride. But at the same time there have been times that I've been guilty of doing it myself, though I try to ...

Re: Hey, there's a kid in the water over there!

It's certainly a different world then when I grew up. As a kid in the 70's and 80's, I was riding my bike all over town by myself, a few miles away from home, by the time I was 10-12. On those days I was sick, I was staying home by myself from the time I was in third grade. Now, when my 11 year old ...

Re: PUSH: The Talking Trash Can Of Tomorrowland

Sounds like a lot of these jokes need to be recycled.

What do I think of this show so far? Rubbish!

[quote="bpgstudios"]Not to get back on topic ]Limo rides most definitly happened at Contemporary at least one day last week. One of my friends who was working over there was telling me about it, and they aren't the only ones I heard about it from. Some poor clueless rookie who was there th...

Re: What Is This?

Sir, will debate you on this. :) "Do you work here?" is the 2nd most asked question when I'm on stage. Well, I could also go with, "Are you taking pictures?" No, I'm just standing here with all this camera equipment on to look like a living decoration. I seem to recall somewhere...
