Re: Magic Kingdom to be open 24 hours on leap day

I was hesitant on picking up other EHH shifts since my location does things apparently pretty different than others. But after seeing what we put up with for EHH cast, I'm grabbing anything I can this season. Yeah, I was on one of the first EHH Wishes shifts after they dropped the training requirem...

The lack of training is what makes it fun!

Re: Hopeful hire question!

I'm 20 years old, and I really would love to be a face character, but due to the three tattoos on my arms (one on each wrist, one on my upper bicep) that I got when I just turned 18, that pretty much isn't possible. Would it be possible, since I'd be in a full costume, that I could be a fur charact...

If you haven't done PAC before, I highly recommend you try it once.

Re: Guest Gains Access To Utillidoors

When one of the more uptight Leads saw me letting myself in to put away hangers, he told me to pretend I didn't have stockroom access and to have a Lead or Stock CM open the door for me. :rolleyes :) . That policy makes sense in that the less people that have access to the stockroom the less shrink...

Re: Guest Gains Access To Utillidoors

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkDMzJvsF-E Working link. When I worked at DL I walked around freely in street clothes. As long as you look like you know where you're going most people wont question it. Not sure if things are tighter at WDW though. Whenever I'd see street clothes backstage without a...

What wonderful department do you work for that lets you choose such things so nicely? Or is WDW just not as nice.

What most people don't realize is that on ToT, there are cameras looking straight into vehicles for the entire ride (except one segment) and TWO cast members watching them at all times. So the second someone was seen floating in the air, the e-stop would have been hit.

Re: Why the rush at Splash Mountain?

I can't believe this. When I was at the resort a few weeks ago I caught a bellhop on TOT not checking seat belts. TOT is actually pretty safe. The only reason they visually verify belts is to make sure someone didn't secure it then sit on it. The vehicle won't dispatch until every seat it thinks so...
