Unfair. The drugs could potentially enable any appreciation.

Re: In Disney's shadow, homeless families struggle

median rent is $800 a month. Motel rooms can go for just $39 a night. I never understand why articles like this phrase it like that. Forty bucks a night is $1200/month, half again as much as $800/month. "Just" $39/night is crazy expensive compared to renting. These kind of newspaper artic...

Lewis from Meet the Robinsons! Yes! He'd be at the top of my kid's list, now we've seen Phineas and Ferb. *sigh*

My family needs to develop more appreciation for the more mainstream characters, I guess.

When I first heard about this movie, didn't think much of the idea. But now I've seen the trailers, I'm really quite looking forward to it.

Another claim to fame for Disney

The title of the article sort of gives it away... http://www.factswt.com/did-you-know-that-the-two-biggest-money-losing-movies-in-history-were-both-produced-by-disney/ Although I figured part of the reason Disney's at the top of the list is that these movies are current, so I looked for an adjusted-...

Re: Taking a Ride On the Guilt Trip Express

I've known some Disney-haters in my day, and I blame about half of them on parents who sent their kids on the guilt trip express, and the other half on commando parents who run the kids ragged in the heat and sun. I recognize the theoretical possibility of someone hating Disney based on their deep d...

Re: Welcome back to Stupid Guest Tricks!

Many thanks for getting this lovely new site set up!

The latest e-mail said I'd have to reset my password, but my old one worked just fine, so not sure what's up with that.

Re: The beginning of the end? Or the end of the beginning?

To get back to the first post (which I know isn't very SGT of me), I've been AWOL maybe a year because for a while it looked like our January trip would be our last trip For A Very Long Time, so I was avoiding Disney sites because they depressed me. Now it looks like we'll be going back to WDW in th...
