Re: Rollerskates, barefeet, no smoking, exits and all that jazz!!
Going over/under chains/ropes was a big problem at Knott's. Mainly it was these stupid kids who were too lazy to get in line in the right place, or were linejumping, or just whizzing us off. They also tried climbing over fences and gates. The scariest thing I saw was when I was working Huff'n'Puff, ...

Re: Minimum Height Requirement vs. Age?
In fact, why doesn't Knott's do the same? And under California's three strikes law, on the third strike the stupid parent/guest would end up with a felony child endangerment charge, go to prison and have their kids taken away from them. But Knott's management is so retarded and self-seeking, they ar...

Re: you think I'm fat???
Maybe they should put a sample ride unit in front of the queue, and if anyone thinks they may be too big to ride, they can check before getting in line.

Re: If I could, I would...
Even though I no longer work at Knott's (thank God!), if I could, I would transport all irresponsible parents to a special, in-park Family Services building, where they would be shown movies, a la "Red Asphalt" and "Red Asphalt II" (for those of you who don't know, those were ver...

Re: Boy dies on Rock and Roller Coaster
I thought I heard that the boy had been to the doctor and gotten a clean bill of health before he and his family went to the park. But I've heard of similar things happening. There was a woman who died on Montezooma's Revenge at Knott's due to an undiagnosed brain aneurysm. Not many people get a tho...

Re: What have attractions been called?
When I worked at Knott's, I was at the Grand Sierra Scenic Railroad in Camp Snoopy, waiting for riders. A family walked by, and a kid started to enter the turnstyle. The other kid yelled at her, "Don't go in there! That's a restaurant!" I said "No, it's a train ride." The e...

Re: Universal Management Lets Guest Get Away With Battery
Contacted the workman's comp company that handled my claim, and they said I needed to contact Knott's to get permission to release the police report. I said that because of the way Knott's treated me which led to my leaving,I was so not talking to them. The company rep was kind enough to call Knott'...

OOPS! His seeing eye dog must've gotten loose from its harness and gone running loose through the park!

Re: Wheelchair Fakers
At Knott's the only wheelchair accessible ride is the Calico Railroad, but I've had guests who come just to ride that--over and over! The wheelchair lift in the Stock Car/Cattle Car has a weight limit of about 350 lbs., if I remember right. I've had a couple of times when there was so much junk hang...
