My favorite slogan came from the attraction host at Mr. Toad late one night. As I walked past the empty queue, she shouted out,
"Hey mister! Wanna go to Hell?"
How could I possibly turn down an invitation like that?

We Don' Need No Steenkin' Seats!
Today was "Stand Up On the Train Day" on the WDW Railroad. I do not know why, or even how all the stupid guests get the messages about what day it's supposed to be. The family boarded the train in the last two rows of seats, right in front of the conductor's position. They didn't sit down,...

Beware of the Bears!
The first Saturday in June is always Gay Day at the Magic Kingdom. It's not a normal day, but that's what I like about it. Half the guests are wearing red, and all have come looking for a good time. Guests who can't handle this much reality are put in vans and shipped off to other -- presumably less...

That'll cause major confusion to us on the east coast as well. Here at WDW, turnstiles are part of Main Street Ops, ticket sellers are part of Vacation Planning, and plaid are part of Guest Relations. Guest Services are part of Resorts, and Custodial and Security are each separate departments. It is...

So I'm riding the WDW Railroad through Tomorrowland, see? The MK doesn't have a Tomorrowland station, so we're just rolling past with a quick view of the plaza between the old Skyway station and Carousel of Progress. Not much to see as the TTA (PeopleMover) track blocks much of the view. So I see a ...

Help, I'm trapped in a paper bag!!!
The Frontierland Railroad Station is a complex maze. As guests enter, they have to climb a flight of stairs. At the top is a landing. In front of them is a fence. To their right is a closed gate. To their left is an open door with a view of the waiting room and turnstiles. This, apparently, is too m...

Don't Hurt My Train!
Toontown at Midnight. The last train to Main Street. All the normal passengers have boarded, the signal is green, and the engineer has just given the signal to proceed. Just like MAGIC (tm), a family of four comes sprinting down the street, leaps over the exit gates, and proceeds to board the moving...

The concept of this truly horrifies me. What are its boundaries? Is it programmed to recognize other dolls like a Furby? Being controlled by the wireless systems, can it send as well as receive information? Does it tell you if you're not purchasing enough merchandise? It sounds to me like a mini HA...
