Re: Non Florida Residents using Florida Resident Tickets

I also have a friend who lives in Florida but whose family is coming to visit WDW from out of state, and she wants to buy them Florida resident tickets. I've warned her it's not worth possibly being embarrassed and/or having to come up with the difference in ticket price if caught. So, how consisten...

Re: Magic Kingdom Debuts New Role-Playing Game

My sister and I did the Team Possible mission at Epcot last year and plan to try it again in April. We'll also give the new interactive game in the MK a go this time.

Re: Adventures In Fruity Drink Land

We watched the special program on PBS this week about whales and dolphins. They are such amazing athletes, and so smart.

Re: Monorail Track Damaged by Cold Weather?

Thanks for the comments, guys. That post had a lot of skeptical responses so I'll summarize some of your comments and just let them know it could have happened as described.

Monorail Track Damaged by Cold Weather?

Evidently this is circulating around on some blogs. Could this really happen? Anybody know if this is true? Last night [over the weekend] Orlando suffered extremely low temperatures which has caused monorail beam damage between the Grand Floridian Resort and the Magic Kingdom. Apparently due to cold...

Mickey Mouse at the Grammy Awards Show?

What's with the weird looking Mickey Mouse on stage near the end of the Grammy Awards, and some people in the audience wearing blue light-up Mickey ears? I missed the name of the band and the song being played.
I'd be surprised if Disney doesn't jump right on that with both feet.

Re: Disneyland as it was in 1957

We were there in 1956 when I was a little tyke. We had my Dad's old home movies of DL transferred to VHS and now I need to copy them to DVD. I remember riding in the conestoga wagon and the driver let my little brother John sit in front with him and called him a mule skinner, which became his nickna...

Re: Cinnamon Challenge

From time to time, I keep having these impressions of my old home back in El Toro/Lake Forest. I don't know if it's nostalgia or if I'm supposed to go back there for a visit. A bus stops two blocks from the old house. Wonder if I can walk past it without arousing suspicions of the neighbors? Or cur...
