Re: Google
I would love that Mary Blair tribute artwork as a poster. I'm a huge fan of her work.

Re: Steve Jobs Will Not Be Down For Breakfast!!!
Thank you Steve Jobs for seeing the potential with computer animation and buying a little division from Lucasfilm called Pixar.
Most of all thank you Steve Jobs for thinking differently. RIP

I hope the double-decker carousel surives. It was in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest carousel. I visited the park in the early 90's. We stayed at the Marriot (who originally built the park) hotel that was right outside the park and could see the park from our room. It was a nice pa...

Do they talk? I think my speakers went out or got disconnected because no sound comes out of them. :(
Jim Henson is sorely missed. :(

Re: 20K Chirstmas Orniment
$17.95 is about average for a Hallmark Keepsake ornament at retail. Go on eBay and search for older Hallmark Frosty Friends ornaments and Rocking Horse ornaments. First issues for both of those ornaments trade for a couple hundred bucks now. The 20K ornament is nice but I can't wait for the Luxo Jr ...

Just heard on the radio that CF plans to sell the local park. Not sure if this is good or bad news. They are planning to sell and I guess final approval is up to the city of Santa Clara. It has something to do with the SF 49ers football team wanting a fancy new stadium. I'm with you Patch, not sure...

My friends and I all decided to go to DL on a very hot Saturday in August several years ago. I think it was in 1999 and the park was PACKED. As we were all theme park employees we were all wondering what we were thinking. We spent the entire day and night there and by closing we were at each others ...

Re: How Well Do You Know Disney?
I got 5 out of 10. My excuse is that I live on the West Coast and WDW is not my home park. However I dispute the answer for the former name of Mickey's Toontown Fair at least the way I read it. The original name was Mickey's Birthdayland which was in use for about a year and half (I think) starting ...

Nothing new. If you drive through the wholesale district in Downtown L.A., you'll see what I mean. There's an area where there are party supply stores and they have all sorts of pinatas. They were 3-D character pinatas (Ariel, Buzz, et al.) that they used to sell. A couple of years ago, Disney did i...
