Re: SG Parents on Splash
One of the tour guides of a Brazillian group once asked one of my coordinators "Why do you treat us like animals?" to which my coordinator replied "Well, when you folks stop acting like animals, we'll stop treating you like animals."

Re: SG Parents on Splash
Oh boat loaders, and guests who think they know everything... don't you love it?! Yes, the Splash boats are designed to fit 2 across, however, 3 kids can fit across in those rows. Pirate boats are designed to seat 23 large adults... 4 people in rows 1-5, and 3 in row 6. The boat loaders have their o...

Re: Really Stupid Guest Trick (With Photos)
If we return to the topic at hand, any guest entering a ride path out of a vehicle is plain and simple: an intrusion. I believe all of the attractions are required to initiate some kind of downtime procedure if this happens at all. Whatever their reasoning was, it was guests in a restricted area.

Re: Have the CMs noticed kids being dragged around by crazy parents?
Aside from crazy parents dragging their kids around (in similar sense) but I hate when parents drag their kids screaming on to rides that the kids don't want to go on... and when they get scared, they spazz out at the kid. In my year and few months with the company, I have learned sooooo much about ...

Yeah, and the back door tour will lead to another tour too many are taking these days ...."The Walk of Shame". Is your job really worth such a fragrant violation of company policy? MAPO It's not a violation of company policy if you have a cast member on the clock escorting you and it's yo...

You're Gonna Think I'm Insane But...
As some of you may know, I am a current WDW CM so normally I can answer 99.9% of my questions... HOWEVER: I have family coming next month, my mom, stepdad, his daughter (27), her husband (???), and their 2(girl), 3(boy), and 4(girl) year old kids... all of whom (with the exception of my mother) have...

Re: Save me from being a SG - tell me what NOT to do
I'm going to provide my favorite dark ride trick with verbal cues in quotes. Try "Invisible Hat" or "Invisible Sunglasses" stunt. Have a witty cast member place some kind of "magic spell" on their hat or sunglasses so that when the kid puts them on, they immediately go ...

Re: Ropes are not jumping!
On the "Starboard" queue at Pirates, the line that takes you thru the dungeon with the deadlocked chess game, down by the loading area, there is a rope that blocks a path to a backstage area. I was leaving the load area heading to another position in rotation, only to be the one to try to ...

Re: Guest Assistance Cards Are NOT Fastpasses!!!
In a way they have a "different" card, the MAW and GKTW or any of those organizations get a special stamp on their GAC card stating "Please do whatever possible to expediate this guests experience" or something to the effect...
