Re: Mnsshp
When we were in Disney for MNSSHP in 2010 we talked to a family who were dressed as Geppetto, the blue fairy, Jimnie Cricket and pinocchio (my spelling sucks). Mom was Geppetto, Dad was the Blue fairy complete with beard, the little girl was Pinocchio, and the baby boy was Jimnie. The 7 year old gir...

Re: Our pre-Christmas trip
The good 1. My family uses a VIP tour guide when we go to Disney. Both of our tour guides were amazing with the kids and with us. My niece will not willing let men pick her up not even grandpa or the uncles. Tom she went right to. She actually went to him over her mommy. Our other tour guide used hi...

Our pre-Christmas trip
We went to "the world" Dec. 17-23 with my four nieces and nephews (aged 3, 3, 4, and 6), my best friend, her sister, my 2 brother-in-laws, my mother-in-law, husband, 2 of my sisters, my sister's fiancé, my father, my step mother, and my brother. We saw the best of people and of course the ...

Re: Bleep Mickey Mouse
Thanks for sharing that! I laughed and laughed and laughed! A few years back my sister was having a rough day (oh yeah, why sugarcoat it...a rough vacation) with her three year old. We were eating dinner at the Biergarten and they both were melting down. The band had just started playing again and ...

Bleep Mickey Mouse
Several years ago my family (my mom, dad, 12 and 7 year old sisters) were at MGM in front of the movie props store waiting for the parade. This girl sits down next to us very upset and 3 sheets to the wind (even the 7 year old knew she was drunk). We have always talked to the other guests and starti...

Re: wheel chair/ECV question
My son couldn't stand or walk the first three years of his life. He could only communicate in grunts and babble. We had easter seals come to the house once a week to work with him. I had to quit my fulltime job to be available for his schedule. It took a full year for the doctors and specialists to...

Re: wheel chair/ECV question
Actually, for the majority of attractions, the lines are mainstreamed (meaning wheelchairs can fit through them). Only a few attractions don't have mainstreamed lines (most of which are at MK or Epcot). Yep a good 75% of the rides' lines are mainstreamed. Sometimes I have had CMs put us in the FP l...

Re: They have escaped
Perhaps with a call for a new chairwoman, since the current one is not able to provide a good example for the other parents? I know, wishful thinking, that... I wish. Since it is a volunteer position and takes a lot of work noone wants the job including me. 99% of the volunteer positions that are h...

Re: They have escaped
Good night!! I don't think I'd be hosting that event again, and I think I'd send a note to the service unit leader to pass on to the other leaders about how rude their girls were and how this is not how Girl Scouts should be representing themselves. Obviously they are learning it from the parents, ...
