Re: The Butterfly is Coming to WDW!
I want to say the 28th, but I'm not entirely sure. I'd have to look.

The Butterfly is Coming to WDW!
Aaron and I will be getting married in December (sadly not at WDW), but we are honeymooning there! I haven't been there since 2007, and a lot has changed in that time. I'm very excited to go. We are doing the Candlelight Processional package at Marrakesh and seeing marlee Matlin. I loved her when my...

Plesae Give Me Back my Claw
It is once again Halloween Haunt time at my park- which means it is time for SGs to come out in full force. We have a major problem with fence jumping at my ride. People are too freaking lazy to walk all the way to the entrance, so they hop over the fence. As part of the Halloween decor, they decide...

Re: Creepy, scarey, etc.
The one I hated was doing walk through of Snow White. Even though the animatronics do not move at all, they're still kind of creepy in the half lighting that we call work lights. Particularly when you are walking through by yourself.

Re: L and F
LU: I agree as well. Also, when the work lights are on, it is technically considered "backstage" and there is no photography backstage except in special circumstances with management approval. (For instance, in entertainment if we wanted a pic in costume, particularly parades, we could tak...

Back to the original topic... (shocking, I know). I completely feel your friend's pain. Water rides have a bad habit of eating stuff. I have lost more pens and white out than I can count. (The hazards of talking with your hands.) Our height stick has ended up in the water on at least 3 separate occa...

Re: The hardest question known to man:...How many in your Party?
I sometimes have the opposite problem. We don't have a grouping position at my ride (actually, none of our rides have permanent grouping positions. Some coasters add them on busy days.) We're a flume ride with boats where you straddle the bench. It's up to 4 adults, you can add two small children to...

Re: SG Parents on Splash
Can I just say from working a ride similar to Splash that I absolutely hate guests putting their hands in the water? I don't get it. Our water is nasty. It spent a month smelling like a horse's backside before we finally got algicide for the lake our water is pulled from. At one point it was such a ...

Re: Tell me the truth
God that would drive me batty. I guess we aren't supposed to be human. One of my crew members the other day got a call that her grandma was in the hospital and not doing well. She came in the next day, I think she just wanted to stay in her routine as she seemed somewhat shell shocked. She was not t...
