Re: This guy makes APs look bad

Heck, we don't even get to use the discount much. We just don't buy that much merchandise anymore. But math is king! We are DVC, so we gets discounted AP. We love the restaurants, so the AP (and now DVC directly) lets us get Tables in Wonderland. We plan our trips so we can get 3 trips out of one AP...

Re: A Treasure Found Today

Mapo, I think that was a really great story, but I'm not quite sure. You see, something funky happened with my screen as it was reading. It got kind of blurry. Can't figure it out. Almost like there was excess moisture somewhere. I'm sure it will clear up...

Re: Remembering Pleasure Island

Just browsing the Centorium, as one example....[/i] Centorium? Sounds like you haven't visited for a while. That shop was changed to Mouse Gear back in 1999! Isn't it amazing how the names we originally encountered things under stay with us? Fortunately, that never happens to me! Now, if you'll exc...

Re: Caption contest

I normally don't jump into the middle of these threads, but after several odd entries, I think a diagram may be necessary: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15812117/WWVenn.jpg Carry on. Yes, and I fear I started it. For that I offer my most sincere apology. Something obviously short-circuited in...

Re: The New WDW Guest -- Nastier than ever

I think WDW has never been kind to non-planners. There's just too much, and some experiences are constrained to the number of guests that can be handled. Frequent visitors can back off the planning to a great degree, but that comes with knowing what the tradeoffs are. There are some things that you ...

Re: Caption contest

Apparently, you have never tried to sell insurance. It can be like.. :banghead: Well, if your job is to sell insurance, you may wish it was a super power, but if it exists I've never seen anyone with it. ;) [I wanted to do a wink smilie, but I couldn't find one. I looked in Standard an...

Re: Craziness Of "Frozen"

We were at WDW shortly after the movie came out, and were noticing the lack of merchandise. My wife spotted a pin, square with both sisters, and wore it most of the trip. It was telling how many of the CM's asked where she got it.

Re: Craziness Of "Frozen"

Well, at least it should lighten the lines for other attractions!

Of course, that's easy for me to say since I don't have any kids (or adults) that would be obsessed about meeting Anna and Elsa.
