I live on Maui. If you have a Hawaiian ID you get what's called a kama'aina rate or discount. Depending on the hotel, store or restaurant, we get anywhere from 10 to 50% off.

Of course, the other side of that is we pay 35% more for everything, except at Costco, and shipping is off the charts.
