Cannot get in early. The park has a hard close at exactly 6pm. EVERYTHING closes, even main street. Not sure about the food. But there will be a parade and fireworks for the party so you dont have to come early to see the 530(?) show.

I worked a grad nite at Indy one year, the 23-7 shift and had to be at the mansion at 10 for another 8 hour shift. All I did was go get a costume change and go sleep in the mansion break room for a few hours. By the end of my mansion shift I was so tired from being up from around 0630 the day before...
