Yeah - what GMC said about the monorail. The hotel monorail station is in the exact same location as when it opened in 1961. Here's a pic before the station was built - it was located in that upper level brown area on the right (above the two cars). This was the main entrance for the hotel (later th...

spealing of monrails, i've heard through the grape vine of adventureland (steam trains) that our monorails don't work in the rain, they e-stop like crazy for wheel slips, and speed issues. makes me sad. True. One big problem was water seeping into the buttons that open/close the doors. Sometimes it...

For some reason, I always had a problem with teenaged kids on Star Tours who would hold their seat belt next to the receptacle to make it look like it was fastened. Obviously, it'd show up on the panel that it wasn't. I'd always point them out and say, "You know, your seatbelt works a lot bette...

I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not, so I'll answer anyways. "Synergy" is a stupid-sounding corporate word (like pro-active) which is meant to describe how the different areas of the company help each other. For instance, when the studios make a cartoon feature, and ABC promotes ...

I always love to read a post containing numerous spelling and grammatical errors, which complains about being called stupid... I know you're not referring to me, since I didn't write that comment, but if you go back and read that post, you'll see that the reference was intended to say "people w...

There's lots of better alternatives than a flat out strike. A strike sounds good to someone who hasn't lived through one; someone who hasn't tried to make ends meet with no money coming in. A strike would hurt the company, but it would hurt the cast members more - and I think the company could hold ...

Actually, since you're still on the clock, you can get written up for cursing backstage. I've known several people it's happened to, it's a form of harrassment to CM that think cursing is offensive. Yes, and unfortunately there's a lot of people that work at Disney, thinking that the work environme...
