When you go to a foreign country you pay taxes on what you buy. After a certain amount, you CAN request that money back by fileing a VAT. I don't remember the exact process, but it can come in handy.

Oh, I also loved the guests who would insist that a certain item in a store was "cheaper" on Main Street or at another store there in Disneyland! LOL! We used to laugh so hard about those people... ACTUALLY... in the years past I used to get kinda upset cause this DID happen. I even tried...
