Re: New Hi Tech Stuff

Did you see the recent Simpsons episode ( "I, Homer" I believe) where Mr. Burns replaces all the staff with robots (except homer). It deals with this very subject.

Re: Be Our Guest will serve beer and wine...

What I find kinda funny is that over on board z some are acting as if they will be handing everyone a beer as they pass through the turnsiles. In my opinion, change happens... Get over it. And if it really becomes a problem I am sure the bigwigs will take care of the matter.

Re: SG Ticket Question...

I should have kept reading... Long story short... Reception told me to go to Concierge, Concierge said to go to Guest Relations, and Guest Relations said to go to the Ticket Turnstyle. And keep in mind they mean the Main Turnstyles. I'm staying at the Grand Californian that has its own enterance to ...

Re: Best bars on property

if you're up for a rousing good time, head over to the River Roost at the Port to catch Bob on the piano. Definitely touristy, but a fun night out. Other than that I like Victoria Falls over at Jambo House for drink and then a quiet stroll around the grounds.

Re: Non Florida Residents using Florida Resident Tickets

I should try this with my eldest son, who seems to think he can move out and live well on his current (part time) job. In the Pilot episode of "The Cosby Show", Cliff (Bill Cosby) did this with Theo. Even went as far as to make the other family members play characters such as T...

Re: Fastpass changes???

Personally I would rather go thru the Standby line. I love talking to the other people ahead and behind me. Only occasionally do I use a FastPass and can only recall once or twice using it after the fact. And the only reason I found out was because a CM handed us some "complimentary" Fps a...

Re: SG Ticket Question...

That is all the information I needed and more. Thanks so much. I am staying at the Grand Cali so I will first check with the Concierge Staff before heading off to GR. One quick final question. If my current ticket has four days left on it can exchange all the days at one time or do I need to go to C...

SG Ticket Question...

First off, let just say that if it works great, if not... no big deal. I am finally making my way to Disneyland for the first time (after many many trips to WDW). I have read on BoardX that a single unused (No Expire) day from WDW can be exchanged for a single day at Disneyland. My assumption is tha...

Re: Monorail Peach

The sad part is that some of us can tell you what pylon the front end of the train is at by that picture. Even a year after driving those trains... You must really know the system well, cuz that is the tail end of the Monorail in that photo! :D: Of course, based on the overall length of the Monorai...
