Re: First Undercover Security

It's too bad they're so limited in what they can do. Observe and report, then stand-by while costumed security/managers do the real work. Easiest job in the parks... And that comes from their own mouths.

Re: What is so Difficult about a Turnstile

I thought everybody was raised to keep ID on them.

Especially in Florida where the cops can detain you for however long they need to verify who you are, especially if you don't have any ID on you.

Re: Service animal going nuts

I've seen people with little poodles wearing service animal harnesses. That are freaking out over everything you see, and they're adult dogs. I get the feeling sometimes people might find somewhere online to buy the harness. Of course there are also the comfort animals, and less uhh reputable traini...

Re: Whats with the big boom?

Maybe they were setting off some misfired pyrotechnics from yesterday? Was it from the front or back of the castle? The ground or the roofs?

Re: Do cm really hate GAC?

Being able to wow guests and turn a crappy situation into a delight is one of the rare privileges of working at Disney. I don't know any company that does a better job of this. Makes me proud. Of course, such activities do serve as bait for the entitlement gators, but such is (stupid) life. I think...

Re: Need an Advil? Call 911!

Non-medically trained CM's would just direct them to First Aid, Right  Lots of worse reasons to call 911,though. It's been done..... No, first aid is if you're ambulatory and only want an advil or ibuprofen. Somebody can help you over there, but generally speaking if you have anyth...

Re: Tinkerbell refused entry

The only cast members one might see wandering around without a CM escort are those that aren't wearing a costume head. The CM are there to help guide the characters to their locations, as it is hard to see out of the heads their costumes have. I frequently see Peter Pan all by himself, near the Cry...

Re: What is so Difficult about a Turnstile

Those places rarely break any actual laws, which is why they're so hard to shut down. There's no law that says I can't pay you $5 for two days left on a 4 day ticket.

Usually the ones that get shut down are the ones that dip into fraudulent tickets or other shady business.

Re: nothing like jackslapping a gator

I've only ever heard of them killing a gator if it's gotten a tooth for humans.

Though I've also heard the reason why it's illegal to harass/kill gators is because too many people confuse them with American Crocodiles which are endangered.

Re: Rude CMs............ On Their Day Off!

I wouldn't be surprised if they were exaggerating her time with the company. If she hadn't properly explained the situation, and if she didn't actually read the booklet. Also maybe she didn't realize that it expired in Feb. She could've thought it was an Oct. expiration like the meal discounts. Stil...
