That's a a little worse then you can expect from the Hollywood area.

Is good old downtown Chi town gridlocked to the point that only 3 or 4 cars get through each green light? That is what Highlands and Hollywood can get like. Sometimes even worse.

Depending on the time you go, it shouldn't take you longer the 30 minutes to get there from the Hotel. But, the Hollywood and Highlands corner can be a real bear to navigate. and can take a good amount of sitting in traffic as its a very touristy spot of Hollywood.
