Re: Moana

This looks like it is going to be SOOOOOO COOOOOL. :Mumble:

It amuses me that there's a chicken. Not sure what I think of the pig, though -- looks European and makes me think of the devastation they're causing in Hawai'i. Aren't the native polynesian pigs more Asian?

Re: How big is too big?

Not to deny that people now are both taller and heavier than people in the 1960s, which they certainly are, I wonder if part of it is that older people are now more likely to ride roller coasters and other rides than they were in the '60s. I was a kid in the '60s, and I didn't know any dads who'd ri...

Re: Confessions of a Theme Park Worker- new Youtube channel

You can see the Disney one at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBYHiLapGqY Only seen a couple but these are great and I have subscribed. :) Had to respond to the first one, though, because (a) I love the Trolley Show! and (b) my crew splits up most of the time at WDW, but we like to meet to watch th...

Re: Kenny Baker Will Not Be Down For Breakfast

I'm glad at least he reached a goodly age. So he was... 71? 72? When he did his last Star Wars move as an actor (I think he was just a consultant on the new series). That's dedication. He also played the Ewok who stole a speeder bike, Paploo. And he was in Willow and Labyrinth, which latter I love, ...

Re: In Disney's shadow, homeless families struggle

Despite what the media may claim, we are in a depression and have been for some time. Not recession, not correction, depression. Jobs haven't actually been added, and the economy is getting worse, not better. I think jobs have been added, it's just that they're mostly part time or low paying jobs, ...

Re: Magic Kingdom's Secrets

In general, I am a Disney World girl, both because it's bigger and because it's closer, but I have to admit Disneyland's "It's a Small World" ride is best. It's the topiaries.

Re: Oh dear.....

For crying out loud. Park version Dale's nose has been more brown than red all this time, and I never noticed. It's like my brain always plonked a red one on there for me, and just suddenly decided it wasn't worth the effort. Huh.

Adam the Woo Forgiven!

For those who don't remember, Adam the Woo was "banned for life" because he was doing videos back stage and posting them to youtube. Earlier thread on that: http://stupidguesttricks.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8473 He does seem to have repented, for whatever that's worth. Rambles like a fi...

C. Meinerding's made me laugh out loud: I don't really watch television but I like a little background noise and light while I sleep. Does the job! however, someone else complained, You are not very good at shopping. Meinerding was up to the challenge: Your comment depresses me. To cheer myself up, ...
