The Siskel and Ebert show was a staple in my house for years. I used to have a book of Roger Ebert's movie reviews and they were some of the most eloquent reviews I have ever read.
Two thumbs down. WAY DOWN :(

Re: I've missed you guys! :D
I did a Panama Canal cruise in 2008 that happened to fall during Passover. Those that were part of the Passover celebration had a segregated area in the dining room (and it just happened to be in the front with the best views), and they had brought their own china and cooking implements. They genera...

Imagine if they had shot a new commercial just for the announcement. I think the social media networks would have imploded with people wondering what was going on.

Re: Air New Zealand Safety Briefing
Air New Zealand is the best! When I flew with them two years ago, the New Zealand Blacks (the national rugby team) were in the airline safety video. My seatmate ( who was from New Zealand) told me who was who on the team.

Re: DL Question
Disneyland used to serve Carnation Ice Cream at the ice cream parlor and in the park. (Hence the name of the parlor). Carnation was bought by Nestle several years ago. I think Carnation was primarily a west coast brand prior to that. Nestle still uses the Carnation name for ice cream (in addition to...

I hope they don't get rid of the riding stables. I hope to do that again the next time (if ever) I visit WDW!

Re: Crap Souvenirs
Great website. I wish I knew where my California Snowman globe was! :D: One of the reasons so many souvenirs look the same is that usually come from the same company and they just imprint the city/attraction's name on it. It's cheap, but it pretty much kills the uniqueness of most souvenirs. Since m...

Re: "Walt Would NEVER Approve", My A$$!!! (Rant)
Phineas and Ferb is the only thing I watch on the Disney Channel too. I think the show is brilliant. I remember the Disney Channel had a three tier programming system. The mornings and early afternoons were for kids. The early evening had shows for families. Then at around 9pm and beyond they showed...

I was devastated by the news that Jerry Nelson passed away today. He did so much for the Muppets, he was so talented. My favorite character he performed was Kermit's nephew Robin. He's one of the sweetest and cutest Muppets. I have always wanted to hold him in my arms. Go on YouTube and search for a...
