Re: T - Shirts Being Worn Around The DLR

I actually get pretty pissed when Mr. Syndrome and I wear our matching Bender shirts. I have a knack for picking out t-shirts that generate a lot of comments (in a good way...usually). But for some reason when we wear those two shirts, everyone comments on his and praises his. I guess it's because ...

Re: Apparently, There Are Crappy Princesses At Disneyland

To be the first serious poster (LOL at the replies), she was probably referring to the fact that the princesses there weren't Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White, Belle, or Jasmine. They were probably Alice (though I don't know if she's at PFF), Mulan, and Pocahontas. ...

LOL at a couple of the replies...I know how the hiring process works. I am a returning Cast Member. ^_^

I was looking for departmental advice.

Best option for least SGs?

Really not sure if this belongs here, but I'm headed to TDA on Tuesday and need some help: (BTW, I will be more than happy to move this thread if it is deemed necessary. ^_^) So I posted awhile ago that I felt unappreciated at the DLR and part of the reason I went to...

Re: No, Sorry, I Do NOT Work Here!

No one here has mentioned it....but I still two-finger point...and will till the day I die. I'm a former CM, but have any of you picked it up from being a park regular, knowing the cultural significance? I got called out on it at Knott's....but someone noticed my exc...

Re: Blue Sky Trick

This one comes from two of my best friends: Yesterday while working at the Blue Sky Cellar in DCA (the preview center with all the concept art for the DCA refurb), a Guest came out and said to them, "Wow, that stuff's really cool! Have you ever been in there?" One just stared at her blank...

Re: Policing of GAC Cards

It is printed on the regular GACs that it is not intended for bypassing lines. That's funny.... I've never seen a DLR GAC.... Working Rides at Knott's, the most common thing we hear is, "But I don't need a pass at Disneyland!" Also, at Knott's, it's easy t...

Re: What's sea world's code 87x???

I'm wondering if this is what made the ride go down... and 87x means some one barfed and they need to clean it up. It sounds like what we call a "37/38 Zulu". Zulu is indicative of a guest needing medical treatment at the ride's location (ie, wheelchair, defibrillator, etc). The code numb...

That's why they have all those cats. (350 at last count at the DLR/DCA.)

Re: Hot Grease

The oil will congeal and eventually plug up the drain, sewer pipe and anything else it gets into. If it was done to a city/county sewage system someone would be paying a huge fine to stop any further occurrences and to clean out the pipes. In Custodial, we call than an MLB, Main Line Backup. It hap...
