Re: red clips mean NO!

I'd put the "Do not use' sign in the affected car, and guess what? People kept trying to use that car! Usually those whose first language wasn't English. But some other people, who were native English speakers, also didn't see it, supposedly. Exactly what happened! If it was just the red clip ...

red clips mean NO!

So today I was working at the Swings over in DCA and as you all know we have the tandem swings for the little ones to ride alongside their parents. We used to have 4 and then they upped it to 8. (They're a nuisance to the workers) Today we had two that were broken. As with any vehicle that is broken...

Re: Talk about misunderstanding where a ride is.

At DCA I always have people asking where the Shrek ride is, for some reason it's a popular question and they always look so surprised when I tell them Shrek isn't Disney.

Re: If the line is over there, DON'T stand over here and make a new line!

I was at my attraction the other day and we were pushing guests forward to make more room for newcomers. We were doing the norm; spieling/waving our arms about in the forward motion. Some guy passes me and jokes: "I feel like we're a bunch of cattle." I smiled, but in my head thought: 'Som...

Re: Clocking Out (Possibly for good)

such a simple thing that could have been prevented, it reminds me of the people fired for drinking in the cast parking lot. think before you do!

Re: Funny Radio Calls!!

not a super funny radio call, but we actually had a miss-communication the other night at GRR. one of our rafts took on a little water and we couldn't get a hold of maintenance. in a moment of panic somebody called 911 and said the raft was sinking. -.- by the time all the security, paramedics, poli...

Re: DCA Updates & Fly-Through

it looks like it's going to turn out nice. the only thing that sucks right now are all the walls closing in around that area, it makes it hard to get to where you need to go. >.< especially for world of color! those walls cause such a mess on the night side.

Re: Throw Away Your Trash!!

I work at Mania over in DCA and as you know we have the 3-D glasses for our attraction. Well as you exit we have these trashcan looking things with a picture of the glasses and a little arrow pointing down on top of them, you'd think they'd get the hint right? I guess SGs don't see everyone else dro...

Re: Are there Bathrooms Inside your Ride?

I completely surprises me how many guests actually come up and ask me if there are bathrooms inside my ride, Shrek. I've actually had someone ask me where the Shrek show was while working at DCA. uh...that's not disney...lol But as for the bathroom in the ride thing, I've had someone ask...

Re: Unattended Items

(Some of the looks on Guest's faces as they saw me in costume pushing 2 personal strollers and pulling a 3rd behind me through the park were priceless. I'm sure people think CMs steal strollers now because of me.) I've been there before. Guests like to park their strollers/wheelchairs along the sid...
