Re: Is that how I look?
And I will admit, there are times I can feel myself getting frustrated and overheated. When that comes, I ask my hubby to take the kids to a store or a ride (not a meet & greet - I want to be there for those) and I find a seat in the shade and just meditate for a few mintues. The mentality of b...

Re: Fighting height requirements
It is really very simple. At each Park entrance put an electronic measuring device. On a child's first entry to the Park a RFID microchip is implanted in a specific location, such as the left shoulder. The child is then measured with shoes off and the measurement is keyed to the RFID chip. When the...

Re: The Worst of the Worst SG's
BW - thank you for taking the time to share your stories. My heart still goes out to all of the monorail CM's. I will be in the World beginning this weekend, and I promise you this...if I see a SG behave like that, I will stand up for the CM's, and tell the SG what a butthead he/she is. I am hoping ...

Re: Guests Speak: What Monorails Mean to Me
I hope y'all don't mind me coming in late with a couple more anecdotes. One of my fondest monorail memories is from 1989...March or April, right before MGM opened. I visited WDW with my HS marching band, and one day my friends and I were riding the monorail around the resort loop, just for fun. Afte...

Re: Fourth of July Monorail Incident
Syndrome has the best idea...silent tribute. I wanted to do something too for the CMs, but after reading BW's post (#6) decided the best thing I personally could do was try to get others to honor his and their wishes. Emotions are still raw and, I have to believe that between the SGs, the SM (stupi...

Re: Fourth of July Monorail Incident
I'm sorry I didn't get my PM in time to get my name on the card, as I have not been on here in a few days. But, I have thought about Austin and his family (both blood-related and CM families) a lot these past few days. I have a question for all of you CM's and past CM's (don't worry, not about what ...

Re: Fourth of July Monorail Incident
While I am obviously not an active poster here, and usually only lurk, I must tell you all how deeply saddened I am to hear the news this morning. My thoughts and prayers are with the fallen CM, his family, and all of his friends and fellow CM's. :(
