When driving backstage entertainment trams, I often drive for guest talent, AKA "Magic Music Days" kids and parents: "Please stay seated at all times when the tram is in motion. If you really need to get off the tram, kindly send a blood curdling scream my way and I'll know that you'd...

I work in entertainment and can tell you definitively (as if you didn't already know) that the charaters ALL wear clothes. In fact they have to wear Disney-issued garments over their personal under garments. Looks like a half jumpsuit and sweat pants.

I'm a pilot and can tell you it's nothing out of the ordinary. The military traffic is from the Los Alamitos reserve base. It's not uncommon to see a Black Hawk helicopter or F-16.

The jet traffic you are hearing is from John Wayne airport. Very loud, very often....very normal.

Coldfire's right. But at least on this day there will be nobody to complain to. Sure there will be. The poor souls who will have to work the ticket counters selling tickets for DCA. The information desk / Guest Services at DCA. Even the security guards at the Esplanade. This day is going to be a me...

Who says it's quiet backstage, either? From the way you describe it, they were going to the area behind DFD next to Talent / HRDM (you know, the MS PSA & Egghouse gate...just behind Space)...not exactly the least busy part of backstage! I heard a story about a Japanese family that wandered backs...

I have actually heard that the two Tinkerbells are a mother/daughter team. I heard that mom's been doing it for (I think) about 20 years or so ... and she's in her 50s. I'm assuming that daughter's in her 20s or 30s then.... Don't think so. I see them around all the time, and I know one of them for...

I'm sorry to be the one to break it to you, but DL does not have the monopoly on the two fingered point. I learned it in cotillion, in grade school, when I went to work for Robinsons and then again at Bullocks, its a common way to direct a person without pointing, which is quite rude to begin with....

The sad epilogue to your story, Jedi, is I'm 100% sure they walked away saying to each other: "What was wrong with that moron?? Couldn't he understand we wanted the TRAM and not the TRAIN??" :)

For those interested --

I've just found out that the idea of Tinkerbell flying down Main Street is being seriously reconsidered. Word on the Entertainment street is that within two years, both remaining human Tinkerbells will be fired in favor of anamatronic versions.
