Re: wheel chair/ECV question

I decided to de-lurk to share my experience. I went to the Magic Kingdom for a couple of days back in October and used a wheelchair. I didn't get front of the line access, although there were lines where I used the alternate entrance. However, even if the wheelchair did provide me with the ability ...

Re: Do CMs ever, ever call security?

I've called quite a few times, but of course can't really say why for major cases. I've called a few times for lost children also.

Thanks for explaining it a bit more! It sounds interesting, I'll do that while the rest of my family actually goes on the subs themselves.

Re: L and F

At Soarin' we had so many people drop items that just shatter in the pit once they hit the ground. Cameras, video cameras, phones, etc. Then there were always the ones that put their flip flops back on after the CM walks away...ugh. Then of course, they fall into the pit.

Nemo Subs

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone had any idea what the alternative experience for people with disabilities is on the Nemo subs? After my knee and tibia replacement as well as having severe drop foot, I am no longer able to go up and down stairs. Well, I can do maybe up to 5...very slowly, with...

Oh no hun, I hope it hasn't spread at all. Sarcomas are nasty, I'm in remission for osteosarcoma. I hope more funding is put forth towards sarcoma research, as of right now sarcomas get a whopping 1% of cancer research funds. You'll be in my thoughts, keep us updated.

I'm so sorry you're going through all of this. The apartment manager sounds like a real jerk, ugh. I'm sorry, I hope you are feeling better soon!

Re: Wow...really?

The tunnel system is not very big, it goes from SE to EU and Innoventions East, that's it. We have buses that we can take, but they often take a while. CMs that work on the west side of the park and even WS are allowed to walk to their area. Of course, full costume should be on appropriately and no ...

Re: wheel chair/ECV question

Yep, the above is correct. They also have courtesy wheelchairs in the parking lots that you can use to get to the front gate. If you're staying at a resort, they often have wheelchairs you can use too (I believe you have to put a credit card on file for these if I remember correctly, we used one whi...
