UGH, I am over the AP payment plan.
I had a call in the phone room yesterday from a Guest who had let her pass expire by 2 weeks and she wanted us to make an exception to sell her a new one at the renewal rate AND waive the down-payments (as if it were a renewal). We contacted ME1 and got an exception to give her the renewal rate, but...

Re: Wearing IDs on stage and off the clock
And to further that: Burger, fries and drink at QSR: $10. Same at cast cafeteria: $5 + tastes good. Wait, Florida's Cast Cafe's taste good? I am now officially jealous. On the Left Coast it's: Burger & Fries at QSR with CM discount: $7 Burger & Fries at the Inn Between: $6 with a side of fo...

Re: Wow...really?
I don't know how it works in Epcot, but it's just as bad on the Left Coast. A few days ago a foods CM literally bumped into me walking through Bugs Land. He might have noticed me if he hadn't been listening to his iPod ON STAGE with a Yankees ball cap on (paired with his Ariel's Grotto costume).

Re: Policing of GAC Cards
Well said, everyone. I have been SO sick of our GAC system recently. I had a Guest in City Hall a few weeks ago who changed his story so many times trying to get "upgraded" from a wheelchair GAC to the arrows that in 5 minutes he gave bad knees, bad backs, behavioral issues, adhd, claustro...

Re: Flight Attendant Has Enough
A Guest told a CM yesterday that "The world would be a better place if your mother would have bashed your head in with a rock when you were a baby!" because he told her she needed to hold the baby on the ride v. wear it in a bjorn. At some point we, as a society, need to stop mistreating p...

Re: World of Color
It was bad, but not THAT bad. The show itself is stunning, and HUGE kudos to the Guest Control team, who were doing a fantastic job with a less-than-fantastic guest control plan. The lines and crowds were bad, but I never once saw a CM get exasperated and start yelling, the way I often do at Fantasm...

Re: Silly Slappin' Swings
Is there a mechanism for dropping Mom in the bay? SUCH a good idea. We were actually talking about having a special "Moon Launch" fountain in World of Color. We could pick one Guest each evening and invite them to spend the night on the moon. Then sit them on one of the blow-pop fountains...

Coach Wooden will not be down for breakfast
Legendary college basketball coach John Wooden passed away this evening at the age of 99. 10 NCAA titles (7 in a row) and 88 straight wins for his Bruins, but this all pales in comparison to the impact he had on the lives of countless players, coaches and fans. You'll be missed, Coach.

Re: Grad Night SGTs
A friend of mine told me me that last week he encountered a grad that was so stoned that he scaled the side of the Main Street Train Station!! Anyone there for that??? I wasn't there for THAT one, but they did have 3 arrests for possession with intent on the first night, and they also found 2 kids ...

Re: I don't want my adopted child anymore. Can I return him?
I saw this on the news last night. Terrible, but it doesn't shock me anymore. Not any more than I'm shocked when parents leave the baby in the stroller outside Space Mountain while they get in line.
