Re: Do you care?
That would create a nightmare for the ticketing agents. Guests would be holding up the line measuring their kids. Kids who are right on the borderline would either be measured as "tall enough" and sold adult tickets, then found later to not be able to ride something, or would be measured a...

Re: Heelies
I think the answer to why heelies is because they allow her to "pop" the wheels when she needs to glide but walk normally when she is dancing or standing on stage. I also think the clip on the Tony's was missing some scenery that makes her blend in a bit more with her tail in that position...

Re: Stupid Board Tricks
I'm having the same problem. If I check for new posts, then close the site without reading all of them, they are no longer "new". But then, sometimes, when I have read them all, I'll come back and it will say I have new posts, but it's the same posts that I've already read.

We usually kept them about 5 minutes over actual wait...

Re: Stupid Carnie Tricks (and non stupid ones too)
My carnie story: I worked as a volunteer at the Merry Go Round museum in Ohio. One of the paid employees was an old carnie who was responsible for restoring the horses and maintaining the merry go round. He was the stereotypical carnie, prone to disappearing for a few days on a bender. When he faile...

Re: Universal Hollywood Back Lot on fire!
He actually sank like a stone the first time they put him in the water. They then had to pull him out and rebuild him. Then he had a stabilizer fin go out so he'd only swim in circles. The delay while waiting for him to be rebuilt forced Spielberg to use other cinematic devices to keep from going wa...

Re: (Front Desk) Interview advice needed
I worked the front desk at Caribbean Beach and Grand Floridian. Actually, I was a concierge, then the training coordinator for FD/Conc at the Grand. When I interviewed, they asked the usual interview questions, but it was clear they were looking for problem solvers who could deal with people from a ...

Re: Monday June 9th 2008
I'm sorry for your loss. I had a special relationship with my Grandmother too. This is the poem I wrote for her eulogy: The Book by Diane Graebner The year was 1912, when God picked up His pen And in His gilded heavenly book, a story did begin. He told a tale of happiness, and of a life lived well; ...
