Re: Disney World, a pedophiles paradise
As a former prosecutor of child abuse cases, specializing in child sexual abuse, I understand where the OP was coming from. Most pedpervs do not molest children until they have for a period of time gotten their thrills from just watching children. This often happens in public places where children c...

Re: the United Way can Go F#$@ themselves
It is because of close minded comments like this, that I am railing about. It may be "the way it is" as you so put it, but so was segrigation back in the fifties. It was wrong then and it is wrong now; and unless we stand up and say that wrong is wrong reguardless of who it may affect. Th...

Re: the United Way can Go F#$@ themselves
I had a similar experience with the unemployment office (EDD) a number of years ago. I tried to get benefits from them for being unemployed, and they insisted I get a job. They said at that time that I would only be getting like $15 a month in assistance. But the jobs they offered me were either on...

Re: Driving jobs at WDW
From your post where you say you don't want to drive buses, are you saying you want to stay away from guests? That's a whole area I know nothing about. My wife tells me that I am not a "people person" in that I do not suffer fools lightly, so I thought a driving job not directly involving...

Re: Driving jobs at WDW
I would prefer something other than a bus, if at all possible. How does one get a position driving a parking lot shuttle? Those look cool even if it does not pay as well as a bus.

Re: Current events
We had a great trip and I want to say thank you to all the CMs we came in contact with. All of you do an often thankless job and do it very well. BTW, my son had a hoot of a time asking all the bus drivers if they knew Zazu and, if so, to tell him hi.

Re: Good Parenting (no, it's true! I saw it!)
On our trip this month we saw a real winner of a parent. The little boy, about 7 was crying because his mother was taking him into the HM. He was very scared and saying he did not want to see any ghosts. The mother started screaming at him in full voice to shut the f-- up. He kept crying and finally...
