Re: Happy Anniversary Apollo 11

The legacy of that is astounding. Millions of people directly and indirectly involved. The industry created from that and the technology. IMO had that spirit continued, we would be far better off right now economically. We would hold a huge dominance on a lot of high tech manufacturing and be better...

Re: Two Buses Crash Near Contemporary

Yeah ECVs are still my biggest worry. One guy lost control coming out of the Monorail and broke a lady's ankle. Way to ruin a vacation.

Re: Guests Speak: What Monorails Mean to Me

Seems like they screw on to the air nozzle that's used for in-shop air pressure. Had Shop forget to put the horn back on. Fun to find that out during the spur test :)

Re: Fourth of July Monorail Incident

Bru, you are an embodiment of what Disney is all about and why many CMs love what they do! Thanks you.

As for the wings. Technically they are costume. Still. I would be proud to wear them. No Disney corporate regulations transcends the spirit of Monorails!

Cheerleaders on a Monorail. Now that's a horrible experience! Avoid WDW during the cheerleading competition lol.

Actually it was my plan to go do some hiking at Yellowstone, but in April I blew my knee out...had a little rock climbing incident... :( Ouch. I hear ya. Had my knee do the same. It does worry me at times because it will get sore sometimes and really hate to have it do something weird on a 4-day tr...

Re: Stupid Guest Tricks out West

The only real way to get rid of SGs at parks is to get rid of the roads. I love to hike and get far away from any roads. Some amazing parks in the world with almost no roads at all. This is a good one: http://www.fiordland.org.nz/ Part of Lord of the Rings was filmed there.

Re: Shoplifting at Disney World

Just about every demographic has people who shoplift. Thrill of it; insecurities; and not wanting to go through the checkout with "certain" items (condoms are a big one). Winona Ryder is a poster child for that =) As for Candyland: Always knew something was up there because I would see OC ...
