Re: Crush crushed

I’m 50, my daughter’s 19 (and about to start the Disney College Program later this week). And we continue to look forward to meeting those very real characters every chance we get. We’ve taken the Family Magic Tour at the Magic Kingdom probably 5 times between the time she was 11 and 18. The last ti...

Re: The Worst of the Worst SG's

Use the purple, and I'll make you a memorial ribbon as we wore to go with it. PM Incoming. I have replied via lengthy PM. I just wanted to publicly say thank you. Honestly, I cannot find the words to convey my gratitude. Maybe this will do for now: “Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for...

Re: The Worst of the Worst SG's

I have a very serious question for any WDW Cast Member and specifically for Big Wallaby, whose responses I have come to deeply enjoy and more recently to respect, in light of recent events at WDW. I have 'lurked' for years; when I post (rarely) it is to defend the tireless efforts of Cast Members wh...

Re: Disney World, a pedophiles paradise

While I agree parents act in true SG style when not properly dressing (and undressing) their children in any public space, I must take issue with the characterization of Walt Disney World as a "pedophiles paradise." I believe such a term disrespects all Cast Members and even sensible guest...

Re: BRWombat, was this you? LOL. Board D's SG's

When you wander onto most so-called Disney fan boards, be prepared for the same results as what happened to the kids lost on the islands in "Lord of the Flies." Dare ye not say something positive about Disney or negative about one of the detractors, or they'll feed off your bones. I used t...

Re: aww, ever had a kid create the magic for YOU?

My daughter and I were on a short trip to WDW after a most unfortunate event happened to us; sometimes only WDW can "make things all better." She and I took the Family Magic Tour our last morning and had the most wonderful time with our CM Tour Guide and the families whom had also signed u...

Re: Stupid Security

Sometimes it's late and we are tired, and we forget our manners...on both sides of the transaction. IMHO "posting this to every board" would put you in the category of SG, even if you are a CM. Whenever I've had a problem at WDW (only 3 times in 20 years), I choose to respond as I wish to ...

Re: New guy from Indy

I agree the MiceAge folks are jerks, as are the LaughingPlace crowd. It's why I no longer bother at their sites. I do take issue with your use of language to describe them; regardless of their acts I think you could temper your use of profanity in describing them.
Just a thought.

Re: OMG. It's finally announced....

My daughter and I are big Potter fans and would love to see this done well, no matter which company got the nod. But I worry that it's going to be done very cheaply after reading quotes from Universal execs who say it's a 250 million dollar project (and I know each of WDW's recent major attractions ...

Re: New Here -- Hopefully not an SG!

Well, this seems to be the proper place for this post, after lurking for a couple years and finally joining a few months ago. Thank you, Cast Members one and all. My daughter and I have been fortunate enough to travel to WDW perhaps a dozen times over the past decade or so. Of course, we love the at...
