Re: Do you want HAM with that?¿?¿

Yes. If I remember correctly, the two lowest levels of license no longer require code. Indeed. I have had my technician license for five years this month. I could never have passed the morse requirement. It's a wonder I passed everything else. But I do know how to use a radio, proper etiquette and ...

Re: Heelies

The resulting injuries were a fractured clavicle, multiple fractured ribs one of which punctured a lung, bruised heart and a 12 inch wide bruise that extended from my shoulder to below my hip. Same sort of thing happened to my oldest daughter about ten years ago, when she was still in high school. ...

Re: Heelies

This is the article that appeared in my local paper about it. http://www.thenewstribune.com/soundlife/family/story/78650.html My favorite quote: “As with bikes, skateboarding, or inline skates, the right safety gear and precautions are very important,” Mike Staffaroni, chief executive officer of Hee...

Re: Diseased Children...Ugh!!

My Ralphs has the wipes inside the store. Once you get a cart inside, the wipe dispenser is next to the carts. They just had a story on shopping carts and germs last night on my local news. http://www.komotv.com/news/5819736.html I can't say that I've seen the wipes where I shop at the local Safewa...

Re: Future Cast Member

Sounds like a good way to get a reprimand. Not all guests who use wheelchairs are invalids -- in point of fact, at BTMR, wheelchair and ECV guests are required to transfer from their chair to the train (and yes, I've had the unhappy duty of turning away guests who were unable to do so). CMs -- and ...

Excuse me? No, I was not joking! Perhaps I was going to Cal obtaining my MA while others were listening to Cheech & Chong. LOL...okay. I have to admit that I was...um, let's see, in high school when that Cheech and Chong song was popular. But are you implying that listening to Cheech and Chong ...

Washington apparently has no official language, but it seems that even here, more and more official government pamphlets, etc. are being put out in multiple languages. Now, I happen to like Korean food and I frequently go to a Korean supermarket in the area called Pal-Do World. I'm not sure if all t...

Don't worry, users with a well established posting history are safe. This will primarily only affect those with low or no post counts. Uh-oh, I'd better start upping my post count. Hmm...too bad you couldn't see that I've been lurking here for years. :::puts thinking cap on, trying hard to think of...
