Re: Wheelchair Fakers

What really get me with the fakers is when they're obvious about it and probably don't even think about it. When they do something like switch who gets in the wheelchair after they get off the ride or my absolute favorite when someone, usually a teenager, is limping to get on the ride and then gets...

Re: Unattended Items

Mapo: I have never heard of a stroller locked to itself needing to be team lifted or causing injuries. I actually think it's a good idea. It doesn't happen often, but when people have personal strollers, it's not unheard of for somebody to grab the wrong one that is the same type of stroller. I've d...

Re: I'm sorry, sir, but your kid is too short to ride...

Some days I laught at the full grown adult asking if he is tall enough, and other days I just cringe. I'm very curious what height checks will be like for me this year. I have been placed in our kids part of the park. In the past, you had to be under 54 inches to ride any of the rides. They are read...

Re: What you said / What they heard

What surprises me is that Mr. Disney didn't enforce the safety aspect, that the CM said they needed to wear them and he refused. I know if I ever got a suit on a ride that refused to use a saftey harness if required, I'd make sure they used it. ... Now if only we could get a suit to go on Pan... Ma...

Re: Overheard in the kingdom

I have seen Wishes canceled once, and that was when a hurricane was blowing by (note: I did not say through). It was very high winds, and they waited until we had even put the Monorails away. Then, the Castle shells started going off, in real time, but with no music playing. The large shells behind...

Re: Why Would You Do That???

Parents seem to think that they can change their child anywhere, anytime. I can't even begin to count the number of dirty diapers I found shoved under the seats at Philharmagic at the end of the night. And you know that the people doing this would be pissed off if they discovered a diaper underneath...

Re: Universal Studios Part I

Is this to and from the parking lot I take it? Regardless, I still think the guest had a right to be frustrated. You are leaving them with absolutely no options. You don't want them to use the elevator, but yet strollers are not supposed to be allowed on escalators and I can see why a parent would n...

Re: I am surprised this is still on YouTube

Who is at fault here? To me its the person who took the video and released it. Should Cindy have said to the photographer, "You aren't supposed to film me back here please stop." of course staying in character, but then what? Do a TMZ and shove her hand in the lens. Now that would make th...

Re: Universal Studios Part I

I can somewhat understand where the guests are coming from on this one. This seems like a pretty crappy set up on Universal's part. I'm not entirely sure where you are talking about, but have a general idea of the issue. If you look at the signs on escalators, they specifically say that you are not ...

Re: I am surprised this is still on YouTube

Management can give approval for photos to be taken backstage as long as the backdrop does not reveal its location. This is not uncommon for entertainment, particularly for parades where it is hard for a performer to get an onstage costume. You must get very specific management approval though. This...
