Re: Welcome back to Stupid Guest Tricks!

Looks like it's the same crew that was around a year ago when I last logged on.

It's your webserver virtual host configuration. You need to add www as an alias.

Re: Glow With The Show Ears

has to be more to sync it to music. and a off command too. other wise they would flash untill the battery died. Nope. All you need is an IR stream that broadcasts 3 bytes, making an RGB pair. Whatever RGB value is currently on the stream you display. If no stream is present, wait a bit in the off p...

Re: Glow With The Show Ears

I don't know how he refreshes his data. I'd be surprised to learn it's wifi though. Anyone know? How often does he refresh? They might just use a proprietary radio signal but only near the gates of the park. I wouldn't think wifi would make sense either, it'd be absolute overkill and raise the pric...

Re: The What Are You Up To This Summer Thread!

We're doing the typical summer thing. Son doing various camps, church conferences, and a mission trip next week. Daughter still trying to find a job, but I don't think it's going to happen. But the best of all is we're doing our big Disney cruise on the Fantasy to the Easter Caribbean to celebrate ...

Re: Parking Tolls

It was a stupid decision, but I can see both sides of it. We also have been telling them to make sure they hold onto the receipt if they plan on leaving the parking lot and coming back. It sounds like a horribly inconvenient solution by the park that is angering their repeat customers who are used ...

The feature garage is pretty lousy. I promise the amount of time you spend walking to your location would instead be spent circling the garage looking for a non-existant spot and in line at the security gate.

Re: 3 men scam thousands on Disney Loophole

I've been trying to figure out how their scam worked, and best I can tell, it was the result of front desk cast not changing their credit limit when changing from a credit card to a debit card. The former has a Disney-set limit of $1500/$1000/$500 depending on resort category. Debit cards aren't co...

Re: 3 men scam thousands on Disney Loophole

I guess the merchandise computers all need reprogramming. In ATS if there is not enough money remaining on deposit in the room account the transaction will reject. The difference is in how the room is being billed. If it's on a credit card, the limit is set by disney, but if they are paying with ca...
